Description

The Lobster Claw Nebula (Sh2-157) is located between the constellations Cassiopeia and Cepheus. It is an emission nebula, and owes its ring shape to the stellar winds of several giant stars within it. The lower (southern) part is illuminated by bright blue stars. Numerous objects are found in the region. The best known are the Bubble Nebula, a spherical HII region formed by the strong stellar wind from its central star, and the NGC 75 38 nebula, the North Lagoon, a mass of dust and gas with great stellar formation activity. But in the photograph you can see more objects:- The Lobster Claw Nebula (Sh2-157). It contains several LBN (Lyn Bright Nebula) regions: 533, 536, 537, 540 and 544.- Bubble Nebula (Sh2-162, NGC 7635)- The nebula NGC 7538 (North Lagoon)- The small emission nebula IC 1470 (Sh2-156 A)- HII region BSF 17, with Kronenberg cluster 23- HII región BFS  16- HII región BFS 18, with the cluster [BDS2003] 42- The star cluster Markarian 50 (Basel 3) with the Wolf-Rayet star WR 157- The star cluster NGC 7510- The star cluster NGC 7654 (M52, Salt and Pepper Cluster)- The oval Planetary Nebula PLN 110-0.1 (WeSb 6)- The open cluster King 19- The HH object  star MWC 1080 (Herbig Ae/Be)The photography  was taken on six nights in November, and its field is wide, 5.1º x 3.7º. To achieve this field  I used an ASI 1600MM camera and an Askar tube 180mm f/4. It is a narrow band image, with HII, OIII and SII filters. The stars are in natural RGB color. This nebula emits well in the band of the three narrow band filters, and although the color is still false, I used a palette that imitates RGB color instead of the classic Hubble palette. I took 26h 55m in total. The truth is that the processing was not difficult, and it took me longer to identify the objects visible in the photo. I leave an annotated image.
